Our approach to sustainability is closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the global goals. We, as a company, have committed to focusing on 10 of the 17 global goals – maximising the positive impacts of our products and minimising any negative impacts from our operations.
To raise awareness on the global goals themselves and what ROCKWOOL is doing to meet them, we ran an internal campaign called #iRockGlobalGoals.
Through the #iRockGlobalGoals campaign, we wanted our employees to unite in the same pursuit of meeting the global goals – creating a sense of community as well as a sense of ownership.
We have run plenty of campaigns in the past – but none of them have been fully dedicated to our sustainability efforts. With high hopes, we ran the campaign for an entire month in June 2018. Our hopes were more than fulfilled. Our 11,000 employees embraced the campaign with open arms – proudly showing how they rock the Global Goals.
