For USCG approvals please refer to our MED-certificates and Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA on marine equipment) between US and the EC which became effective on July 1, 2004, allowing equipment that receives a USCG approval number from a European Notified Body under the MRA can be installed on-board a US flag vessel where applicable.
